The wineBANK is located in the heart of the Baden winegrowing region in Bühl. As a member, you can store and enjoy your wines here on around 200 square meters. A total of 13,368 bottles find their home in 198 lockers, distributed among 13 vaults. Become a wineBANKer in what is probably the most beautiful bank in Baden. Frank Wolz is a native of Bühl and was influenced by the Baden-Alsatian way of life at an early age. His father, himself a passionate wine enthusiast, sparked his interest in law, good food and a glass of wine at a young age. Frank studied law in Freiburg and is now a partner in one of the largest law firms in the Baden-Baden region. For a long time, he dreamed of turning his love of wine into more than just a hobby – this dream has come true with wineBANK Baden in the gorgeous vaulted cellar of Villa Walchner.

“As a wine enthusiast, I’ve always been fascinated by how this very special beverage connects people in an extraordinary way.”

The successful architect and project developer Thomas Velten discovered a historic vaulted cellar under a late classicist villa as part of his new construction and revitalization project “Living on Campus” in Bühl, which he immediately fell in love with. With wineBANK, he found just the right concept to bring this beautiful cellar back to life. Thomas is particularly fascinated by how wine manages to connect people. Together with Frank Wolz, he offers a space for like-minded people at wineBANK Baden. A place for wine enthusiasts.
