wineLAIR offers a luxurious atmosphere for its members to relax, receive guests and gather with other members in style. Appointed in refined black and gold, the club features a design that brings the Old World and New World into harmony. Wine treasures will find space in 358 lockers distributed across its 511 sqm. Enjoy wines directly from your collection or select from our beautifully curated wine and spirits list. In addition, you can enjoy our in-house snacks or a long and relaxed dinner: an exclusive menu is available from renowned chef Ris LaCoste, owner of RIS restaurant. The space will also slake your thirst for new knowledge through regular masterclasses, exclusive wine tastings, winemaker dinners, and other events. Whether you’re a passionate wine aficionado, supplier, collector or novice, all are welcome to this community.

Gena is an experienced hospitality-management professional, excelling in operations in a member-focused environment for more than 15 years. Prior to joining wineLAIR she served as the Director of Membership & Marketing of the Capitol Hill Club.

Gena's career reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence. During her eight years with Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, she achieved a significant milestone by becoming a Property Brand Service Culture Trainer. In this role, alongside her management responsibilities, she took great pride in successfully training staff to embody and deliver the brand's service culture.

Gena's hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure that the Club remains an exclusive haven where members can relax, connect, and thrive. Her dedication to fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere is matched only by her commitment to upholding the highest standards of service.

Outside of her professional role, Gena enjoys traveling and exploring new culinary experiences, often bringing fresh ideas back to the club to enhance its offerings. She hails from New Jersey, but has been a DC resident long enough to completely drop her accent.
